Maharashtra College of Nursing is a unit of JSPM Institutions. Established primarily for the benefit of the Society. It is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Nashik (MUHS) and recognized by Maharshtra Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council.
(JSPM) was started in the year 1983, by Ex-MLA, Hon Shri Shivajirao Patil Kavhekar sir.
With the addition of improved medical and surgical services, professionally trained nursing personnel were a felt need of the hospital. As a response to which a School of Nursing was founded in 2010.
In 2010 the School of Nursing came into existence with the Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) Course. Keeping in view the need of trained nurses In 2011 the School of Nursing started with General Nursing and midwifery (GNM), Diploma in nursing with three years of course duration.
To keep pace with the rapid advancement in Health and Nursing Sciences. The B.Sc. Nursing Degree Course of Four years duration was started in 2013. All these courses started under MUHS.
Maharashtra College of Nursing now stands as an Edifice of Enlightenment and Empathy.
